Connor Kasin, a senior at Massapequa High School and 17 years old,
fell on the ice during a break in a charity hockey game in New York, making for a tragic scene. Even though Connor got medical help right away, he died, shocking his family, friends, and community.
The event was held to remember Sabrina Navaretta, who graduated from Syosset High School and died in a car accident in 2023. Connor had a sudden medical event during a break in the game, and he passed out on the ice. Even though CPR was done and cops and paramedics rushed to the scene, he could not be saved.
